Elizabeth Fernandez Pinero was born in Yonkers, New York on May 28, 1970. She graduated from Iona College, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992. She obtained her J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1995. She was admitted in Florida in 1995 and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1998.

Ms. Pinero joined the firm in 1998 as an associate attorney and became a partner in 2007. She concentrates her practice in Family Law, including complex dissolution of marriage matters, custody, paternity, domestic violence, pre and post marital and settlement agreements, and appellate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pinero practiced criminal defense law in both state and federal courts.
